The Roomba is circular in shape and about three inches thick. It is an autonomous vaccum cleaner. It vacuums up dirt and uses its brushes to pick up litter like paper scraps and sweet wrapper . Its sensors tell it when it comes to an obstacle like the wall. It also doesn't fall off the steps.
The algorithm in its brain allows it to completely clean a room thoroughly even cleaning the same spot more than once. Besides floors, it can also clean ordinary carpets and rugs. It does an excellent job of cleaning under tables and beds which we find difficult and inconvenient.
Newer models also let you navigate the vacuum by a remote control. Besides general cleaning , you can also get it to do a specific task such as cleaning a small dirty spot.

Sensors: Friendly Vac is equipped with a set of multi-directional proximity sensors, which help avoiding repeated bumping into walls and other obstacles such as furniture. It is also equipped with a bump guard. If it does bump into an obstacle, the Friendly Vac will stop, back up, turn around and continue cleaning in the direction in which it came. The unit also comprises special stair sensors, enabling it to detect and avoid stairs. Self-diagnostics: The clever Friendly Vac has self diagnose capability and will alert if a problem is detected. A single digit will appear on the display window. An index printed on a decal attached to the inside of the handle will indicate the nature of the problem and what needs to be done. Routine maintenance: Very little maintenance is required with this product. The dirt cup should be emptied when needed, and the filter should be cleaned occasionally (we recommend every 2-4 weeks) simply by clapping it several times on a hard surface.
