It's pretty exciting to get your hands on a tablet pc. This is a device that allows you to not only use as a laptop but you can use it as a notepad just like using a pen and paper. You can even search your handwritten notes as it recognizes your handwriting. It is also easier to illustrate your point with a sketch or a diagram. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.
You even have a choice of tablet pcs. You can either pick a slate version which is a tablet pc without a keyboard and just the monitor. Or you can choose one that come along with an integrated keyboard.
