Wow wee has introduced a new Robosapien called Robosapien V2. It's taller than the original one. The inventor envisage taller and bigger robots in time to come. The original robot was only 24 inches. The new robosapien is 32 inches tall. Subsequent ones in development will even be taller. Why? So that it can do more things and tasks. In future the robot can help you in household chores. What can it do? Help to tidy your house. If it sees things lying on the floor, it can picked it up. You can ask the robot to get a can of beer from the frige. You can ask the robot to switch on the TV. You can retire your maid or servant. You can get the robot to wake you up in the morning too. The makers plan to make the remote control obsolete. You can simply tell it what you want it to do instead of fiddling with the remote controls.
This new robosapien can sit down, stand up and lie down. Robosapien V2 is fully autonomous. It can also be controlled by remote control. It has infra red radar sensors that recognise red, blue, green and yellow colours as well as skin tones. This means the robot can differentiate an inaminate object from a human being.It can recognise the owner by waving its arms and will offer to shake your hands. It can also see obstacles in its path,Equipped with sound detection system ,it is also able to detect sounds in the environment and react accordingly. Robosapien V2 can also interact with its environment by talking. The new robosapien is a vast improvement from the original in that it can talk where previously the original one couldn't . The new robosapien can hold and carry or pick up heavier objects than the earlier model.Robosapien V2 can be also laser guided via the remote control. The robot will follow the path traced by the beam and will interact with objects in its path.
